THE HIDDEN COST

Formatting is the tax on every placement you make

It never appears on an invoice, so it never gets measured. A UK survey of more than 50 recruitment agencies put a number to it.

15–45 min

to format a single resume

Reported consistently across 50+ agencies, with no meaningful variation between small companies and enterprise firms.

17.7 hrs

hours spent per vacancy

UK recruiters lose the equivalent of two working days per role to administrative work before a placement is made.

2,400 hrs

a year, per 10-recruiter desk

Unbilled formatting time at 40 resumes per recruiter per month, 30 minutes each — which the survey costed at ~£72,000 a year on UK salaries.

“Most weeks, making a CV client-ready takes me longer than the interview itself.”

Recruiter at a global staffing firm, quoted in the survey

What those minutes actually go towards:

  • Retyping dates and job titles into your custom template
  • Rebuilding sections that collapse the moment you paste them
  • Branding and formatting which includes fonts, logo placement and footer disclaimer
  • Stripping personal details by hand for blind submissions
  • Doing it all again when the candidate sends an updated resume

HOW IT WORKS

Four steps, to make it easy

No new system for your recruiters to learn and no change to how candidates send you their resume.

1

Send us your template

One Word or PDF example of a client-ready resume. We perform a one time mapping of its branding, section order, date conventions and footer — reuse for every batch.

Setup step, done once per template

2

Upload the batch

Bulk upload all the resumes your candidates sent you. PDF or Word documents are all accepted.

No file preparation required

3

We parse and rebuild

Each resume is read into structured fields. Contact details, roles, dates, achievements, skills, education are rendered into your template rather than copy-pasted into it.

Runs across the whole batch at once

4

Review, then send

Your recruiter bulk export the formatted resumes. They verify them before it leaves.

Nothing reaches a client unchecked

DISCOVERY CALL

Twenty minutes on your desk, not our product

No slide deck and no pressure to buy anything. We ask how formatting works at your agency today, and you leave with an estimate.

  • We start with how your process actually works

Where resumes come from, who reformats them, how many client templates you juggle and what breaks most often.

  • You leave with a number you can defend

Your volumes and your operational costs, worked through properly, the figure you would take to a partner meeting, not a range off a website.

We will only use these details to set up the call. No candidate data is needed, and we will not add you to a mailing list.

QUESTIONS AGENCIES ASK

Before you bring it to your team

PDF and Word (.doc and .docx) documents are accepted. We plan to expand to RTF and scanned images in the future, but we do not accept them today.

We build it from your actual document rather than a preset that looks similar. Fonts, colors, logo placement, section order and naming, bullet style, date format, and the footer disclaimer are all mapped during setup.

No, that is the normal case. Hold as many templates as you need and select one when you submit a batch.

Resumes are processed for the purpose of formatting them into your template and nothing else. We do not store candidate data.

Minutes rather than the hours/days a recruiter would spend on formatting the resumes, and the whole batch is processed in parallel rather than one resume at a time.

Pricing is based on the volume you format each month, so a small company and a enterprise firm are not on the same plan.
